This juice tastes amazing!
It many not look like it tastes amazing but it really does. So you'll just have to trust us on this one.
Depending on the apples and carrots you use the juice may be a different color than the picture of ours.
Apparently the carrots we used didn't add much orange color. :)
The recipe includes carrots and parsley which are loaded with carotenoids that help to brighten the eyes and skin as well as cleanse the liver. We thought a liver cleanse would be appropriate for after a Holiday weekend. It also helps to regulate blood pressure and lower cholesterol.
You know the saying, an apple a day keeps the doctor away!

Serves 1 -2
3 1/2 fl oz boiling water
1 green tea sachet OR 1 tsp green tea
4 carrots
2 apples
small handful of flat-leaf parsley
sprigs of parsley, to garnish
Pour the boiling water onto the green tea and let stand for 3 minutes. Strain and cool slightly.
Juice the carrots, apples, and parsley. Stir the juice into the tea, pour into glasses, and serve warm or cold, garnished with parsley sprigs.
