Our first winter in New England of 2011 was wonderfully mild.
We spent Thanksgiving in Lenox, MA in the Berkshires.
The Birchwood Inn was beautiful and served yummy breakfast every morning.
Down the hill in the town Lenox we ate Thanksgiving dinner at La Terrazza Lounge & Bar Restauant.
The food was amazing as was the company. ;-)
We went hiking in the park that was near our B&B and saw a truck parked at the entrance with a Texas bumper sticker and license plate! "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could." Awesome!
December 16th found us in Texas for a wonderful Christmas visit!

We enjoyed great family time and a beautiful Christmas tree @ The Standfield's!
We went to the The Nutcracker at the Boston Opera House New Year's Eve. It was super freezing and we still saw girls running around dressed to the ten and bare legged! Pretty sure the temperature was in the teens. Crazy!
New Year's Day we had a party!
After attending a lovely New Year's Day Church service we headed to the hot spot in our fair town.
Popcorn popped with our air popper we received for Christmas,
hot tea & cookies,
and watched a movie @ home just the two of us!
